Job summary

DS Smith in Ely is seeking a CAPEX Project Manager to lead a portfolio of capital investment projects from concept through handover. You will partner with Retail Marketing, Operations, Engineering and Finance to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery that enhances operations and customer experience.

You will manage budgets, timelines and risk, while collaborating with suppliers and contractors to realise tangible benefits.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering CAPEX/capital investment projects in manufacturing or similar.
• Strong stakeholder management across multiple functions.
• Ability to define budgets, timelines and success metrics.
• Experience managing procurement and external partners.
• Leadership to drive project delivery and maintain momentum.

Responsibilities

• Take end-to-end ownership of CAPEX projects from concept to handover.
• Define scope, budgets, timelines and success measures with robust plans.
• Manage CAPEX budgets, forecasts and approvals for value delivery.
• Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders and external partners.
• Ensure health & safety, governance and timely project delivery.
