Job summary

Kraft Heinz is seeking a Capex Project Manager (Electrical & Control bias) to drive a portfolio of capital projects from concept through handover at our UK site. You will define technical requirements, liaise with suppliers, coordinate installation, testing, and handover while ensuring compliance with CDM and site standards.

The role requires 3+ years in FMCG engineering, strong planning, problem solving, and effective communication to manage scope, budgets, and timelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in an Engineering role within an FMCG manufacturing environment (EC&I).
• Experience planning and implementing improvement initiatives and supporting delivery of projects.
• Ability to resolve problems and implement solutions with attention to detail and high installation standards.
• Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines and to plan, coordinate and prioritise workloads.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of a portfolio of Capital Projects from concept to completion and handover.
• Define technical requirements for projects and liaise with suppliers and contractors to create engineering solutions.
• Coordinate and lead project implementation, installation and testing phases of key projects.
• Ensure solutions are safely implemented and compliant with legislation and site standards.
• Create requirement specifications and scopes of works, evaluate options, and make recommendations.
• Liaise with suppliers, site contractors, management, engineers, operatives, safety professionals, and stakeholders to meet deliverables safely, on time and within budget.
