Job summary

London Luton Airport Operations Limited is seeking a Capex Project Controls Manager to ensure robust controls across the capital investment programme. The role focuses on cost management, schedule performance, and insightful dashboards to aid decision-making across the Infrastructure Directorate.

The successful candidate will build dashboards, report to governance bodies and work with PMO/Finance to align reporting with corporate systems.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a project controls or PMO controls role in capital-intensive infrastructure.
Strong understanding of project cost control, budgeting, forecasting and financial tracking.
Experience in monitoring programme performance using Primavera P6 or MS Project.
Experience building interactive dashboards and Power BI reports (Power BI Desktop).
Familiarity with governance processes for capital projects and ability to produce business cases.

Responsibilities

Lead cost control processes for capital projects against approved budgets.
Support managers with financial forecasts, cashflows and cost-to-complete estimates.
Develop and maintain dashboards combining cost, schedule and risk information.
Provide project control reports to governance boards, sponsors and finance.
Ensure alignment with corporate financial systems and reporting cycles.
Monitor performance against baselines and support recovery planning.
Oversee change control processes reflected in budgets and forecasts.
Assist procurement with tender reviews and cost validation.
