Job summary

W Talent is seeking a CAPEX & Indirect Category Procurement Manager to own major spend across a complex manufacturing environment. You will challenge suppliers, influence stakeholders, and negotiate for measurable savings across CAPEX, MRO, engineering and services.

The role requires developing category strategies, leading RFPs, and implementing supplier agreements while collaborating with Engineering, Operations, Finance and Maintenance teams to deliver cost reduction and value improvements.

Qualifications

• Background in manufacturing, engineering, or asset-intensive environments with CAPEX and indirect procurement experience.
• Commercially confident with supplier engagement and negotiation.
• Experience engaging engineers and operational stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own and develop CAPEX and indirect procurement categories.
• Lead strategic sourcing, tenders and competitive RFP processes.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, terms and service agreements.
• Manage and develop strategic supplier relationships.
• Work with Engineering, Operations, Finance, Maintenance and stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction and value improvement.
• Lead CAPEX procurement from specification to supplier implementation.
• Challenge existing supply arrangements and improve commercial discipline.
• Develop category strategies and procurement improvement initiatives.
• Monitor supplier performance, contracts, KPIs and savings.
