Job summary

Google is seeking a Capacity Management Lead, Forward Deployed Engineering, to optimize deployment and utilization of technical talent across AI Tech Go-to-Market teams. You will own end-to-end matchmaking, align project requirements with consultant skills and availability, and advise practice managers and leadership.

This role is data-driven and relationship-focused, balancing day-to-day staffing with forecasting and process improvement within Google Cloud’s Go-To-Market team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in program or project management.
• 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
• Experience using Salesforce or another CRM.

• Partner with strategy and operations and AI Tech Go-to-Market leadership to create best practices for staffing and utilization management.
• Lead weekly staffing meetings with forward deployed engineering leadership teams and ensure supply and demand forecasts are accurate.
• Match forward deployed engineers with projects based on skill set, availability, timezone and other constraints.
• Partner with team leadership to manage assigned forward deployed engineers utilization, bandwidth and well being.
• Develop new metrics for tracking staffing efficiency.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
