Overview

Door-to-Door Canvassing Manager – Location: Solihull (West Midlands). Salary: base £35,000 plus commission & bonuses. Employment Type: Fulltime/Permanent - office base (Occasional field visits).

Responsibilities
  • Plan, coordinate, and manage all aspects of door-to-door canvassing campaigns to maximize outreach and results.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor a team of canvassers, fostering a positive and motivated work environment.
  • Set daily, weekly, and monthly targets for the team and monitor performance against goals.
  • Provide on-the-ground support and guidance during canvassing activities to optimize team productivity.
  • Monitor quality control to ensure compliance with company standards and legal regulations.
  • Collect and analyse campaign data and feedback to report on effectiveness and suggest improvements.
  • Manage scheduling, routes, and logistics to ensure efficient coverage of designated areas.
  • Handle conflict resolution and maintain high team morale in a challenging, fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales departments to align canvassing efforts with broader company objectives.
Candidate Profile
  • Proven experience managing a door-to-door canvassing or sales team, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on meeting and exceeding targets.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Good organizational skills, including managing schedules and resources effectively.
  • Knowledge of relevant legal requirements and health & safety standards for door-to-door canvassing.
  • Flexibility to work outdoors and travel within the designated canvassing areas.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Previous experience in direct sales, management, canvassing, or similar field sales roles.
  • Demonstrable track record of achieving sales targets and managing teams.
  • Valid driver s license and access to a vehicle may be required depending on the location.

Base salary of £35,000 plus commission and bonuses
