Job summary

Kraft Heinz in the United Kingdom is seeking a Canmaking Mechanical Engineer to join a multi-disciplined shift team. You will maintain Canmaking assets and optimise equipment to maximise volume while guarding quality and safety.

The role requires Time Served Mechanical or multi-skilled engineering expertise, with preference for candidates familiar with packaging/FMCG Canmaking equipment and high-speed lines. A proactive, team-oriented approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be Time Served Mechanical or Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer.
• Experience in Packaging, Food, FMCG or Canmaking equipment preferred.
• Experience operating/maintaining high-speed Canmaking equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain Canmaking lines with focus on safety, quality and yield.
• Carry out mechanical maintenance to support production.
• Perform asset care, PMs and CBM as required.
• Support asset care and OEE processes.
• Assist in breakdown investigations using 5Why’s and 5W1H techniques.
• Engage in CI and BBS initiatives and activities.

Canmaking Mechanical Engineer

Purpose Of Role

To work as part of a multi-disciplined shift team and to maintain all assets within the Canmaking team. The role is to optimise the utilisation of all Canmaking equipment to deliver maximum volume at the right quality.

Key Accountabilities

To operate/maintain Canmaking lines ensuring optimum safety, quality, yield and utilisation, including;

• Mechanical maintenance duties to support production
• Will safely carry out work on equipment across Canmaking
• Must be proactive in line improvements from conception to completion
• Complete duty rounds asset care, PMs and CBM as required
• Support asset care / OEE process
• Support breakdown investigations using 5Why’s and 5W&1H techniques
• Must be willing to Embrace BBS, CI and HGPS initiatives and activities Education & Experience
• Candidates must be Time Served Mechanical or Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer
• Previous experience in the Packaging/Food/FMCG/Canmaking equipment is preferable
• Previous experience in the operation/maintenance of high speed Canmaking equipment is preferable Key Job Competencies/Behaviours
