Canine Partners invites applications for a Canine Care Technician at our National Training Centre in Loughborough. The role is 22.5 hours per week, Wednesday to Friday, with travel to vet appointments as required by the charity vehicle.

The Role
You will play a fundamental role in delivering the charity’s mission by ensuring that every dog’s wellbeing is the top priority throughout their time in assistance dog training at our National Training Centre. By maintaining consistently high standards of welfare and care, you will enable dogs to learn effectively, build confidence, and thrive during their training. Your work directly supports the charity’s goal of creating successful partnerships between dogs and their future partners. You will deliver preventative healthcare, monitors each dog’s physical and emotional wellbeing, and works closely with trainers to prepare dogs for partnership placement. You will also collaborate with fosterers, volunteers, and partners to ensure a consistent, high-quality approach to the wellbeing of our dogs.
