Job summary

Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust is expanding its Cancer Clinical Nurse Specialist teams. We are seeking experienced Cancer nurses, preferably with a CNS background, to join Upper GI or TYAs services. You will deliver advanced nursing care, work within a MDT, and lead in patient care and education.

The role offers autonomous practice, opportunities to develop leadership and clinical skills within a busy cancer unit across three sites. Joint recruitment may involve cross-site travel.

Qualifications

• NMC registration with degree in related subject.
• Post registration qualification in cancer or related speciality at level 7.
• Advanced communication course and Level 2 psychological skills training.
• MSc or MA in related speciality.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced nursing care as a CNS within a MDT.
• Demonstrate leadership and manage patient care autonomously.
• Contribute to education and training of junior staff and students.
• Lead and participate in service development and quality improvement.
