Job summary

HRGO Recruitment are seeking a hands-on Multiskilled Maintenance Technician for our client in Kingston. This permanent, full-time position offers a structured workload and a diverse range of buildings to service.

Salary is from £37,400 per annum, plus 28 days annual leave + 8 bank holidays. Responsibilities include planned preventive maintenance, reactive repairs, fault diagnosis across mechanical, electrical, HVAC and plumbing systems, and ensuring safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Recognised qualification or strong experience in a core trade (Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, Heating or similar).
• Experience in building services, facilities management, or maintenance environments.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of health and safety regulations.
• Proactive, team-oriented approach with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out Planned Preventative Maintenance and reactive repairs across campus buildings.
• Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs across mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems focusing on your area of expertise.
• Working across trade disciplines to support the wider team and maintain service continuity.
• Using CAFM and BMS systems to log work and monitor building performance.
• Collaborating with colleagues, contractors, and staff to deliver efficient maintenance services.
• Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety and compliance standards.
