Compass Group UK&I is seeking a motivated Kitchen Assistant to be at the heart of our University catering team on a full-time basis (35 hours per week). You will help prepare delicious, high-quality food, maintain kitchen cleanliness, and ensure the safe use of all equipment while upholding our brand image across campus venues.

You will work 5 out of 7 days, thrive under pressure, manage priorities, and collaborate with colleagues to deliver great service.

Qualifications

• Preparing delicious, high-quality food.
• Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness in the kitchen and surrounding areas.
• Ensuring the correct use of all machinery and equipment.
• Demonstrate an ability to manage pressure and communicate effectively at all levels.

• Prepare delicious, high-quality food for clients and customers.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and surrounding areas.
• Ensure correct use of all machinery and equipment.
• Assist with loading or unloading deliveries and supplies.
• Represent Universities and maintain a positive brand image.
• Comply with Food Handling & Hygiene standards and Health & Safety regulations.
• Demonstrate ability to manage pressure and prioritise tasks.
• Be an excellent team player and reliable.
