Gonville & Caius College in Cambridge is seeking a Kitchen Porter to join the college kitchens. You will maintain kitchen equipment, keep utensils and dishes clean, and support the chefs in food preparation, learning different methods as you go.

This full-time, 3-month fixed-term role offers 40 hours per week across 5 of 7 days, with alternate weekends and some split shifts. Salary is £28,080 per year (£13.50/hour). Training is provided and no prior experience is required.

• No prior kitchen experience required; full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Maintain kitchen equipment and keep utensils, including dishes, pots and pans, clean.
• Support the chefs in the preparation of some food items and learn different methods of preparation.
