Job summary

Shiplake College is seeking a dedicated cleaner to sustain a safe, well-maintained, and clean environment across day and boarding houses, offices, and classrooms. You will work both independently and as part of the domestic team, with occasional evenings and weekends.

You’ll also assist in the on-site laundry on a rota basis, washing, drying, and returning laundry to the correct locations, all while enjoying a contributory pension and free lunches in a riverside setting.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends when needed.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Clean day and boarding houses, offices, classrooms, meeting rooms, and changing rooms.
• Dust, sweep, vacuum and mop to maintain a neat environment.
• Assist with onsite laundry on a rota basis, sorting and returning laundry.
