Global Banking School in London is seeking a Facilities Assistant to maintain high standards of cleanliness and a safe learning environment. The role is permanent, full-time, and on-site at East London (Stratford). You will contribute to a welcoming campus by cleaning all areas and managing supplies, ensuring a hygienic space for students and staff.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a cleaning role within a commercial premises.
• Knowledge of using professional cleaning chemicals safely.
• Customer-focused approach with clear communication.
• Health and safety awareness for equipment and chemicals.
• Flexible, proactive attitude and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Clean all campus areas (classrooms, offices, libraries, common areas, cafeteria, restrooms, and grounds) to a high standard.
• Daily floor care: vacuum, sweep, mop and polish where needed.
• Clean and sanitise surfaces and high-touch areas to maintain hygiene.
• Prepare classrooms and arrange furniture; wipe desks and clean whiteboards.
• Monitor cleaning supplies and report shortages to the Facility Manager.
