Job summary

Coventry University Enterprises Ltd at Scarborough Campus is seeking a reliable cleaner for a part-time, permanent role on a 5-day over 7 rota. The post focuses on cleaning communal areas, teaching spaces, stairwells and washrooms while ensuring COSHH and Health & Safety compliance.

The role may involve work at other University premises as needed. Applicants should have experience in general cleaning, be self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Experience in general cleaning to a high standard.
• Excellent customer service and communication.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety guidelines and COSHH.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning of communal spaces, teaching areas, stairwells and washrooms.
• Operate cleaning equipment and materials provided.
• Ensure COSHH and Health & Safety compliance at all times.
• May work at other premises owned by the University as needed.
