Job summary

Loughborough College Group is hiring a Sessional Food Service Assistant to support the college canteen and internal catering across campuses. You will help deliver a positive dining experience for students and staff while assisting with stock rotation, cleanliness, and safety across areas.

The role requires experience in a café or commercial catering, excellent communication, and a calm, organised approach.

Qualifications

• Experience of working in a café or other commercial catering outlet.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Highly organised, calm, with great interpersonal skills.
• Possess a positive can-do attitude to work.

Responsibilities

• To work as part of a team to ensure smooth and efficient business operations.
• Offer a friendly welcoming face during food service in the box Office or Campus Kitchen.
• Communicate with chefs regarding allergen and ingredient information prior to food service.
• To ensure displays are full and well presented at all times ensuring efficient stock rotation.
