Job summary

Teneo is seeking an Associate Consultant to join our corporate communications and campaigning teams. You’ll support client accounts by delivering insights, managing deadlines, and developing effective narratives across diverse audiences.

You’ll be a lynchpin for account teams, coaching junior staff and contributing to winning new business proposals while learning from senior leaders across our global practice.

Qualifications

• Around 1 - 3 years’ experience in a communications role, within agency or in-house.
• Experience generating good quality research and presenting insights in a useable and engaging way, whilst being able to comprehend at times technical subject matter across different industries / sectors
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Strong media relations skills and contacts
• Ability to build solid client relationships and make valuable contributions in internal and external meetings
• Strong ability to grasp clients’ business objectives and relevant wider industry dynamics
• Enthusiasm about creativity and campaigning

This role is primarily to support Teneo’s corporate communications and campaigning accounts, joining a thriving team advising high-profile clients on how to create effective narratives, build positive media and stakeholder relationships and tell proactive stories which support a business’s strategic objectives.

As an AC you’ll be the lynchpin for our client account teams – displaying strong project and time management skills, delivering regular insight and analysis, staying ahead of the news agenda, and supporting on clients’ reputational and strategic objectives. ACs manage and coach our Account Executives and work into and learn from our Managing Directors, Directors, Associate Directors, Senior Consultants and Consultants.
