Job summary

Flexjet in Farnborough seeks a CAMO Planning Engineer to support continued airworthiness, maintenance planning, and operational readiness of its luxury private fleet.

You will coordinate scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, manage work packages and aircraft records, and ensure compliance with EASA and company requirements in a fast-paced business aviation environment.

Qualifications

  • Engineering degree or equivalent experience in aircraft maintenance planning.
  • B1 or B2 Licence or equivalent experience in maintenance planning and continued airworthiness.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor hours, cycles, maintenance intervals, and MEL/CDL limits to ensure compliance.
  • Develop recovery plans for defects and operational discrepancies.
  • Identify opportunities to optimise maintenance activity with schedules.
  • Manage short, medium and long-term maintenance planning to support fleet availability.
  • Review maintenance work packages ensuring documentation and sign-offs are complete.
  • Maintain aircraft maintenance records in line with EASA and company requirements.
  • Participate in daily operational and maintenance planning meetings.
  • Support ADs, SBs, and modifications implementation.
  • Coordinate maintenance activities with CAMO, Operations, and providers.
  • Ensure activities comply with regulations and approved procedures.

Job description

Flexjet is seeking a CAMO Planning Engineer to support the continued airworthiness, maintenance planning, and operational readiness of its fleet of luxury private aircraft based from our new hangar in Farnborough. Working within the CAMO team, you will be responsible for coordinating scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities, managing maintenance work packages and aircraft records, and ensuring compliance with EASA and company requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor aircraft hours, cycles, maintenance intervals, and MEL/CDL limitations to ensure compliance with all maintenance requirements.
  • Develop recovery plans for reported aircraft defects and operational discrepancies.
  • Identify opportunities to optimise maintenance activity in line with operational schedules.
  • Manage short, medium, and long-term maintenance planning to support fleet availability and commercial objectives.
  • Review maintenance work packages, ensuring all documentation, approvals, certifications, and sign-offs are completed accurately.
  • Maintain aircraft maintenance records and historical documentation in accordance with EASA and company requirements.
  • Participate in daily operational and maintenance planning meetings.
  • Support the assessment and implementation of Airworthiness Directives (ADs), Service Bulletins (SBs), and modifications.
  • Monitor fleet technical status and coordinate maintenance activities with CAMO, Operations, and maintenance providers.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities are completed in accordance with applicable regulations, aircraft maintenance programmes, and approved procedures.
About You
  • B1 or B2 Licence, Engineering Degree, or equivalent experience in aircraft maintenance planning and continued airworthiness, ideally within a business aviation, executive, or VIP environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of EASA Part-CAMO, Part-M, Part-145 and Part-21 requirements, with experience supporting maintenance planning, airworthiness management, materials, logistics, and parts coordination.
  • Highly organised with excellent planning, prioritisation, record-keeping, and attention to detail, able to manage multiple tasks while ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced operational environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; CAMP experience, CAMO/Part-145 training, aircraft technical courses, and aviation regulations training would be advantageous.
