Job summary

Flexjet in the United Kingdom (Farnborough) is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Planner to monitor hours, cycles, and MEL/CDL limits, ensuring compliance with maintenance requirements.

You will develop recovery plans for defects, optimise maintenance activity, and coordinate with CAMO, Operations and providers to maintain fleet availability.

The role requires strong organisational skills, knowledge of EASA rules, and experience with CAMP and Part-145 environments.

Qualifications

• Licence B1/B2 or an Engineering degree or equivalent experience in aircraft maintenance planning.
• Strong knowledge of EASA Part-CAMO, Part-M, Part-145 and Part-21.

Responsibilities

• Monitor aircraft hours, cycles, maintenance intervals, and MEL/CDL limitations to ensure compliance with maintenance requirements.
• Develop recovery plans for reported aircraft defects and operational discrepancies.
• Identify opportunities to optimise maintenance activity in line with operational schedules.
• Manage short, medium, and long-term maintenance planning to support fleet availability and commercial objectives.
• Review maintenance work packages, ensuring all documentation, approvals, certifications, and sign-offs are completed accurately.
• Maintain aircraft maintenance records and historical documentation in accordance with EASA and company requirements.
• Participate in daily operational and maintenance planning meetings.
• Support the assessment and implementation of Airworthiness Directives (ADs), Service Bulletins (SBs), and modifications.
• Monitor fleet technical status and coordinate maintenance activities with CAMO, Operations, and maintenance providers.
• Ensure all maintenance activities are completed in accordance with applicable regulations, aircraft maintenance programmes, and approved procedures.

About You

• B1 or B2 Licence, Engineering Degree, or equivalent experience in aircraft maintenance planning and continued airworthiness, ideally within a business aviation, executive, or VIP environment.


• Strong working knowledge of EASA Part-CAMO, Part-M, Part-145 and Part-21 requirements, with experience supporting maintenance planning, airworthiness management, materials, logistics, and parts coordination.


• Highly organised with excellent planning, prioritisation, record-keeping, and attention to detail, able to manage multiple tasks while ensuring regulatory compliance.


• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced operational environment.


• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; CAMP experience, CAMO/Part-145 training, aircraft technical courses, and aviation regulations training would be advantageous.
