A leading mental health provider in Maidenhead is seeking a qualified Senior Mental Health Practitioner to join an innovative CAMHS service. Are you a qualified, registered Mental Health Nurse, Social Worker or Occupational Therapist looking for a new forward thinking role within a CAMHS service? Are you passionate about assessments and getting young people to the right place?, Due to the success of our pilot in Windsor we are now looking for a Senior Mental Health Practitioner for GP to join us in Maidenhead on an 18 month FTC. This project is ground-breaking in the outcomes it provides for young people and we are looking with someone who shares our passion to be a part of it. Within your role you will work jointly across primary care and the network of emotional wellbeing and mental health services within the locality, improving patient journeys and making it easier for children, young people and their families to obtain the help they need. You will be an integral part of the team, holding a small caseload of Getting Help level cases accepted via triage and doing assessment in your PCN role. You will split your time equally, doing 2.5 days in each. This is a unique opportunity to be part of and contribute to a newly developed and innovative service. This is an important post, at the interface with partner agencies and specialist CAMHS. For this role we require an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual who is passionate about delivering duty interventions and contributing to team working. You will be an experienced child and adolescent mental health practitioner who will work as part of the PCN MDT to deliver the following:
