Job description
Southwark CAMHS – CAMHS Practitioner (Fixed-Term, 0.85 WTE, 12 Months)

Southwark CAMHS are seeking to recruit a CAMHS Practitioner with strong clinical skills. This is a fixed-term 0.85 WTE post available for 12 months based within the Southwark CAMHS Neurodevelopmental Service.

In this role you will work alongside the Clinical Service Lead and other clinicians to support the team and ensure the delivery of high quality, evidence‑based assessment and treatment. You will be responsible for your own clinical caseload and will be involved in assessments—including diagnostic assessments for ADHD—care planning, and offering interventions for children and adolescents with neurodevelopmental disorders, with support from the multi‑disciplinary team.

Qualifications
  • Registered with the Health & Care Professions Council as a Practitioner Psychologist
  • Or have an accredited professional training in nursing, social work, occupational therapy, or art therapy
  • AND have experience delivering mental health services to children and young people with neurodevelopmental disability in diverse community settings
