Job summary

A healthcare staffing firm in Plymouth is seeking a CAMHs Practitioner to deliver quality mental health care. Job description

Coyle Personnel are currently seeking 2x CAMHs Practitioners Band 6/7 for two separate roles based in the South West of England (Plymouth/Devon).

Location: Plymouth / Devon
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 16:00/30 PM or 09:00 - 17:00/30*
Pay Rate: £26-£32 per hour
Start Date: ASAP
*Potential to compress hours for the right candidate.

Applicants must have worked within a CAMHS service previously.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality mental health care to service users, including assessments, care planning, and therapeutic interventions.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of service user mental health needs.
  • Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to support the mental health needs of service users and their families
  • Manage a caseload, adhering to service protocols and procedures.
  • Maintain a high standard of nursing care, including clinical procedures, treatments, and the custody, storage, and administration of drugs.
Mandatory Requirements
  • Current RMN qualification with active registration.
  • Previous experience working within a CAMHs service
  • Strong background in prison-based mental health services.
  • Excellent communication, risk assessment, and crisis intervention skills.
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to a secure setting.
