Job Overview

Permanent Band 6 mental health practitioner for a CAMHS eating disorders team across Bradford, Aire Wharfe, Craven CAMHS.

Full Time, 37.5 hours per week.

Role Description

As a mental health practitioner you will assess risk and support children & young people with moderate to severe eating disorder presentations in the community. You will manage risk, prevent hospital admission, and respond to crisis when needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess risk and inform decision making for children and young people.
  • Work with risk in the community to prevent hospital admission where possible and manage crisis when needed.
  • Provide clinical support within the eating disorders team.
Qualifications
  • Essential: Professional registration as RMN, LD nurse, Occupational Therapist or Social Worker.
  • Desirable: PEAP or equivalent.
  • Essential: Experience within a mental health setting.
  • Desirable: Experience in child and adolescent mental health nursing.
