Avon and Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust in Bristol is recruiting a Band 4 CAMHS Community Support Worker for the Eating Disorders service. The role covers Bristol, South Glos and North Somerset, with a focus on home-based support and crisis intervention within a CAMHS ED context.

You will work in partnership with CAMHS teams and Acute trusts, travelling across areas and contributing to recovery in a family-based treatment framework.

Qualifications

• Ability to study at degree level/ proven academic success (including good literacy and numeracy)
• Experience of working within Mental Health, Supportive or relevant role/ study
• Knowledge of CAMHS or eating disorders is desirable

Responsabilités

• Promote rights, values and diversity within professional boundaries
• Maintain effective communication with people, families and carers; access translation services if needed
• Contribute to planning and reviewing care packages and individual care plans
• Work autonomously under indirect supervision of registered clinicians
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of mental health needs and clinical risks
• Maintain confidential records and prepare reports and referrals
• Help individuals manage their mental health and housing and learning opportunities
• Support development of identity and personal relationships for young people
