Job summary

A leading healthcare provider in the UK is seeking a Band 6 Dietician to join their Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service. The successful candidate will engage in a detailed training program, participate in outreach work, and work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide therapeutic support for young people with eating disorders. This role offers a competitive salary ranging from £44,485 to £52,521 annually.

Qualifications

  • Membership of HCPC and registration status required.
  • Experience working in CAMHS and eating disorder services is crucial.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the CAMHS Development Programme.
  • Provide outreach support and individual therapy to young patients.
  • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Skills

Experience in Dietetics including working with mental health problems
Knowledge of Dietetics relevant to post
Good observational skills

Education

Membership of HCPC
Current registration with HCPC
British Dietetic Association accredited course(s) in eating disorders
