Job summary

A forward-thinking consultancy in Cambridge is seeking a Transport Planner to assist with a variety of development-led transport projects. The role requires a degree in Geography, Transport Planning, Civil Engineering or a similar field, along with some relevant experience (0-2 years). Responsibilities include preparing transport assessments, analyzing data, and mentoring junior staff. Qualifications

  • Some experience in development planning (0-2 years preferred).
  • Strong communication and report writing skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare Transport Assessments, Transport Statements, Travel Plans and technical notes.
  • Analyse traffic and public transport data.
  • Assist with project management and client liaison.
  • Support planning drawings including access design.
  • Contribute to appeal documentation and attend meetings.
  • Assist in mentoring junior team members.
  • Support fee proposals and tenders.
