Tesco Cafes are seeking a Team Member to join the caf. You’ll be part of everything – a bit of cooking, a bit of chatting with customers, and a lot of impact on the day’s service.

You’ll help keep kitchens and front-of-house tidy, follow safety standards, and work flexibly within the weekly availability. We offer 8 guaranteed hours, progression opportunities, and a supportive team in a fast-paced, friendly environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing roles preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Keep kitchen equipment and utensils clean and tidy.
• Serve customers efficiently and with care.
• Follow food safety and hygiene regulations and maintain records.
• Rotate stock using FIFO where required.
• Assist with deliveries and safe storage of food.
• Follow operational policies and procedures.
• Prepare, cook and serve food according to the menu.
• Ensure availability of food products and menu knowledge.
• Handle customer questions and pass feedback to Caf Manager.
• Stay updated with communications and new initiatives.
• Sanitise and clear tables to keep the cafe clean.
