Job summary

Holroyd Howe is seeking a proactive Cafe Supervisor to support the day-to-day food and service delivery in the Sixth Form Cafe. You will ensure timely service, assist with preparations, and help present meals to a high standard for pupils, staff and visitors.

Role involves maintaining hygiene, managing allergen controls, and contributing to weekly specials with the Executive Chef and General Manager. A team-focused, flexible approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Ideally experience in a cafe or coffee shop setting.
• Strong Health & Safety knowledge and allergen controls.
• Flexible and customer-focused with a can-do attitude.
• Enjoys teamwork and delivering high-quality service.

Responsibilities

• Ensure cafe opens on time and runs smoothly each day.
• Devise weekly specials with the Executive Chef and GM.
• Support food prep, service, and presentation to a high standard.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across kitchen and service areas.
• Assist with labelling, temperature checks, and allergen controls.
• Provide excellent customer service to pupils, staff and visitors.
• Set up and clear service areas; support day-to-day operations.
• Follow food safety, health & safety, and safeguarding procedures.
• Support hospitality events and occasional out-of-hours functions.
• Champion allergen controls and uphold our conduct standards.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Cafe Supervisor to support the day-to-day food and service delivery in the Sixth Form Cafe. This role is essential in ensuring pupils, staff, and visitors receive high-quality, nutritious meals served with care, efficiency, and attention to detail.,

• Ensure that the cafe is ready open on time

• Follow all food safety, health & safety, and safeguarding procedures
• Contribute to hospitality events and occasional out-of-hours functions
• Accountability for following and championing allergen controls, Our respectful codes of conduct inform how we behave towards our clients and customers, suppliers and business partners, and each other. Ideally have experience working within a cafe or coffee shop setting
