Job summary

Compass Group UK&I is seeking a dedicated Cafe Supervisor to help ensure the smooth running of operations in a major High Street brand on a full-time basis, contracted to 35 hours per week. You will supervise a frontline team, manage weekly rotas, handle stock orders, and maintain high standards of food handling and safety.

Responsibilities

• Check deliveries and store them promptly and correctly.
• Supervise a team and create a welcoming environment for staff.
• Be a responsible key holder and support weekly bookwork.
• Produce weekly rotas following managerial guidelines.
• Place orders to maintain stock levels and monitor stock integrity.
• Delegate tasks and ensure the team stays proactive.
• Maintain compliance with Food Handling & Hygiene standards.
• Adhere to Health & Safety regulations.
• Provide strong customer service and teamwork.

We're currently recruiting a dedicated Cafe Supervisor to help ensure the smooth running of the operations in a major High Street brand on a full time basis, contracted to 35 hours per week. As a Cafe Supervisor, you will use your skills to maintain a high standard of quality work. • Ensuring all deliveries are checked and stored promptly and correctly
• Supervising a team, creating a positive environment where the team feel welcomed and supported
• Being a responsible key holder
• Assisting with weekly bookwork and any other duties that are necessary
• Producing weekly rotas following the manager's guidelines
• Placing orders for stock to maintain the correct stock levels
• Delegating where necessary and ensuring the team are proactive at all times
• Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards
• Complying with Health & Safety regulations
• Previous experience supervising frontline teams within a similar environment
• Good communication skills with a focus on great Customer Service
• Team player and can-do attitude
• Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining a positive attitude
