WHSmith Sheffield DMCs is seeking a Multi-Site Store Manager to lead two stores, drive sales, and develop teams. You will collaborate with nearby stores, coach colleagues, and ensure a compliant, customer-focused operation across both sites.

You will model exceptional service, manage stock and queues, and work to achieve KPIs while upholding HR processes and inclusivity across the business.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with other stores in your group to share insights, successes and strategies.
• Coach and develop your store team, identify and nurture talent for key roles.
• Advocate for the colleague voice and open communication with your team and manager.
• Support and embed the Group Engagement Plan to keep the team aligned with goals.
• Ensure HR processes and policies are followed with guidance from Employee Advisors.
• Oversee mandatory training and provide new starters with a welcoming induction.
• Foster Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging so everyone can be themselves at work.
• Identify sales-driving opportunities using data insights and partner to implement solutions.
• Ensure store activities are planned and executed in line with brand guidelines and supplier compliance.
• Maintain a safe, legally compliant environment, adhering to Health & Safety requirements.
• Manage cash and shrink, ensure adequate stock and minimise waste.
• Oversee day-to-day operations to achieve operational excellence and best practices.
• Support the manager in delivering KPIs and resolve performance issues with SMART actions.
• Model exceptional customer service and maintain a welcoming, efficient store environment.
• Manage queues, upsell products, and drive spend per passenger, ATV, and volume.

• Ensuring store activities are executed on time and in line with brand guidelines and supplier compliance through effective planning and communication.

• Maintaining a safe and legally compliant work environment by adhering to all Health & Safety and legal requirements.

• Managing cash and shrink processes, ensuring adequate food supply and minimising waste while addressing areas of loss.

• Overseeing day-to-day store operations, ensuring operational excellence through consistent best practices.

• Supporting your manager in delivering key performance indicators (KPIs), resolving any performance issues with SMART actions.

Customer:

• Role modelling exceptional customer service and creating a customer-first culture, ensuring a welcoming and efficient environment.

• Managing queues, upselling products, and making your store the go-to choice for food and beverages.

• Maintaining consistently high standards across your store, using the operational booklet (or equivalent) effectively.

• Taking full accountability for colleague productivity, stock availability, and overall store performance to enhance the customer experience.

• Coaching and training your team to grow sales by focusing on key metrics like spend per passenger, average transaction value (ATV), and transaction volumes.
