Job summary

Tesco UK is hiring for a Front of House café role where you will greet customers, serve food and drinks, maintain a clean and welcoming area, and stay up-to-date with the café menu and initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Serving customers quickly, efficiently and with care.
• Resolving customer complaints and relaying information to the Café Manager.
• Maintaining food freshness by following first in, first out (FIFO) stock rotation.
• Adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations while keeping daily records.
• Accepting deliveries and handling the safe storage of food.
• Clearing and sanitising tables so our café stays clean.
• Making sure we maintain our standards and all food products are available.
• Staying up-to-date with business communications and exciting new initiatives.
• Knowing our café’s menu inside out and making sure food is served the way it’s intended.
• Preparing hot and cold drinks for customers.
