Job summary

Flashpoint Bristol is seeking a Café Manager who will own how the Café works – its processes, standards, training, products and continuous improvement.

You’ll lead the team, develop the menu, manage stock and suppliers, monitor KPIs and support community events, while staying visible to customers and shaping the overall customer experience.

This role suits someone with hospitality flair, a practical mindset and a passion for turning ideas into tangible improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or cafe operations.
• Knowledge of food hygiene, allergens and health & safety.
• Ability to manage processes, resources and records.
• Experience training and coaching others.

Responsibilities

• Own and continuously improve Café processes, standards, SOPs and resources.
• Maintain food hygiene, allergen, health & safety and sales compliance.
• Coordinate training, competency and moderations to build team knowledge.
• Monitor KPIs, report to Centre Manager and drive improvements.
• Oversee stock, suppliers, menu development, pricing, margins and wastage.
• Support events and community initiatives in the Café space.
• Be visible to customers and gather feedback to shape future work.
• Assist Deputy Centre Manager with recruitment, onboarding and people processes.
