A leading UK retailer in Newcastle upon Tyne is looking for a Barista to ensure compliance with food safety regulations and provide excellent customer service. The role involves coaching team members, managing stock levels, and resolving customer complaints efficiently. Ideal candidates should have a background in hospitality and be skilled in planning, organisation, and communication.
You’ll bring your skill as a Barista (or as someone who’s worked in hospitality) to the team and share your knowledge and expertise with those around you. At Tesco, no one tries harder for customers than we do. So you’ll ensure you’re familiar with all of our menu offerings and any new initiatives, regularly review stock levels, and serve our customers quickly and efficiently, taking into account any particular requirements.
At Tesco Café, we’re committed to providing opportunities for everyone to be at their best. With your experience, you’ll take ownership of team barista development, work closely with the Café Manager to support those looking to develop their skills, and use our Click and Learn portal and other café resources to complete specific learning modules to enhance your knowledge.
