Tesco Cafs in Bar Hill, United Kingdom, invites applications for a Back of House team member. You will help prepare and serve food, keep kitchens clean, and maintain the quality customers expect. This role supports flexible working and offers a path for career growth within Tesco Cafs.

• Assist with deliveries and safe storage of food.
• Follow operational policies and procedures.
• Prepare, cook, and serve food according to the caf rules.
• Ensure menu items are available and displayed correctly.
• Know the cafs menu and serve food as intended.
• Resolve customer questions and pass information to the Caf Manager.
• Stay updated with business communications and initiatives.

You will be responsible for

• Keeping kitchen equipment and utensils clean and tidy.
• Serving customers quickly, efficiently and with care.
• Following food safety and hygiene regulations while keeping daily records.?
• Practising first in, first out (FIFO) stock rotation to keep our food fresh.
• Accepting deliveries and handling the safe storage of food.
• Being aware of (and following) all operational policies and procedures.
• Preparing, cooking, and serving food according to our cafs
• Making sure we maintain our standards and all food products are available.
• Knowing our cafs menu inside and out and serving food exactly as its intended.
• Resolving customer complaints and passing on information to the Caf Manager.
• Staying up to date with business communications and exciting new initiatives.

You will need

• A commitment to excellent customer service.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety standards.
• The ability to work efficiently and maintain a clean environment.
