Job summary

Tesco Cafs is looking for a Back of House team member to help keep our kitchens clean, prepare food, and deliver consistent quality across our cafes. You’ll be part of a supportive team with flexible working options and opportunities for career growth.

Responsibilities include keeping equipment clean, handling deliveries, adhering to health and safety standards, FIFO stock rotation, and serving customers with care, while maintaining high cafe standards across outlets.

Responsibilities

• Keeping kitchen equipment and utensils clean and tidy.
• Serving customers quickly, efficiently and with care.
• Following food safety and hygiene regulations while keeping daily records.
• Practising first in, first out (FIFO) stock rotation to keep our food fresh.
• Accepting deliveries and handling the safe storage of food.
• Preparing, cooking, and serving food according to our cafs
• Making sure we maintain our standards and all food products are available.
• Knowing our cafs menu inside and out and serving food exactly as its intended.
