Overview

We are seeking a Cafe Assistant to join our Cafe team at YMCA North Tyneside, North Shields. This is an 8 hour contract located at Church Way, North Shields, NE29 0AB. Salary: Up to £12.60 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Food preparation and cooking
• Food presentation and cleaning
• Customer service and creating a welcoming environment for customers
• Support the running of the cafe and work as part of the team

Qualifications and Experience

• Barista and food handling training experience
• Previous experience in a cafe environment and/or qualification in food hygiene or related fields
• Ability to work within a team and provide excellent customer service

Requirements and Availability

Please note the post holders must be able to work flexibly depending on the needs of the business and must be available for occasional overtime and weekends.
