Overview

Absolute Taste is seeking a professional and highly motivated Trackside Host to join our international hospitality team supporting the Cadillac F1 Team. This role focuses on delivering exceptional VIP guest experiences in a fast-paced, luxury environment, requiring a polished front-of-house presence, strong interpersonal skills, and exceptional attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

Planning & Preparation

• Support the Project Lead and Trackside Hospitality Manager with operational planning and organization.

• Assist with temporary staff inductions and training.

• Build strong, positive relationships with clients, guests, and colleagues.

• Demonstrate professionalism, punctuality, and varied communication skills across formal, informal, and international contexts.

• Maintain organisation and attention to detail in all preparatory tasks.

On-Event Duties

• Act as an ambassador for Absolute Taste, delivering service with confidence, gravitas, and attention to detail.

• Ensure all hospitality areas are prepared to the highest standard and ready on time.

• Welcome guests, team members, media, and sponsors, ensuring everyone feels valued.

• Serve food and beverages, including coffees, cocktails, and detailed wine pairings.

• Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to support smooth service.

• Maintain immaculate cleanliness and presentation across all guest areas.

• Assist chefs with basic food preparation or washing up when required.

• Manage your assigned hospitality area or section as needed.

• Assist with safe and efficient setup and pack-down of all event spaces, including back-of-house.

Post-Event Responsibilities

• Complete all required event reports and records for the Project Lead.

• Document lessons learned to improve future events.

• Attend post-event client debriefs as required.

Required Experience & Characteristics

• We are seeking a team member with excellent proficiency in communicating in American-English including vocabularly and tone, to support our US based clients

• Event or restaurant experience, ideally with international focus.

• A passion for events and events hospitality.

• A positive, can-do attitude.

• Ability to communicate at a variety of levels, including with team members, clients, and contractors.

• Willingness to travel and work abroad approximately 27 weeks per year in line with the F1 calendar.

• Commitment to adhering to the behaviour and conduct standards expected by Absolute Taste.

• Responsible for the meticulous planning and delivery of high-level VIP hospitality, ensuring we consistently deliver the Absolute Taste food vision.
