Job summary

Akkodis is seeking an experienced Vehicle Durability & Loads Engineer to support development and validation of vehicle durability requirements. You will process road-load and simulation data, develop duty cycles and load cases, and support virtual and physical durability testing.

The role requires someone who can manage their own workload, challenge existing methods and turn complex data into practical engineering decisions.

Qualifications

• Automotive durability, structural fatigue or vehicle-loads engineering.
• RLDA processing and road-load data management.
• Duty-cycle development and load-case deployment.
• Fatigue calculations, fatigue data and damage coefficients.
• Processing large engineering datasets using MATLAB.
• Interpreting CAE durability and structural simulation results.
• Developing or supporting rig and vehicle durability testing.
• Understanding of whole-vehicle dynamics and load transfer.
• Experience improving or challenging engineering methodologies.
• Approximately 10 years’ automotive industry experience.
