A specialist consultancy in safeguarding is seeking a Cadet Safeguarding Support Worker. This role involves promoting the wellbeing and safeguarding of children by working closely with families and multiple agencies. Ideal candidates will have proven child protection experience and strong communication skills. Responsibilities include acting as a point of contact for disclosures, supporting case workers, and managing safeguarding records in compliance with data protection legislation. This position offers a hybrid working arrangement based in Edinburgh.
Our client is seeking a Safeguarding Support Worker who is suitably qualified and an expert practitioner in safeguarding practice. The successful candidate will be confident in conducting child safeguarding investigations and working collaboratively with multiple agencies, always maintaining a child‑centered approach.
You will work closely with children, families, volunteers, and staff within the Army Cadets, as well as with partner agencies such as social care, education, and law enforcement.
