Overview

CAD Technician (Utilities Design) – Manchester

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 + Mon-Fri + Company Bonus + Company Benefits

Are you a CAD Technician with a background in utilities design looking to become the go-to expert, delivering end-to-end design projects on behalf of a company whose people are their priority, giving stability, varied workload and benefits such as healthcare and an annual bonus.

On offer is the opportunity to join a well-established market-leader in utility services working on multi-million-pound projects for a range of industrial, commercial and residential clients across the North West.

In this role, you will be joining a small in-house team based in Manchester working on multi-utility connections and green energy projects from concept through to completion, for new and long-term clients. You will be responsible for creating drawings and designs using AutoCAD for various multi-utility projects and keep electronic versions up to date. You will also be given the opportunity to mentor junior members of the team and the chance to occasionally travel out to site to gain knowledge of construction.

Responsibilities

• Creating drawings and designs for multi-utility projects
• Working with construction to see projects through to completion
• Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
• Contribute to the end-to-end delivery of multi-utility projects
