In this role, the successful CAD Technician or similar will be responsible for the design, development and implementation of technical drawings – specifically for Highways / Transport. In addition, you will be responsible for any calculations necessary to ensure drawings adhere to both specification as well as national highway standards. On top of this, you will ensure assigned tasks are completed within budget and delivered on time to meet project deadlines. Finally, you will be responsible for keeping technical documentation, as well as client and customer liaison, attending site visits as and when required.

The ideal CAD Technician or similar will have a background within the Highway Design / Transport Planning / Civils / Drainage or a related field. In addition, you will also have proficiency in AutoCAD design software as well as an understanding of general office software (Microsoft etc.). On top of this, you will have strong numerical and analytical skills. Also, you will be happy to work both as part of a team as well as autonomously. Finally, you will hold a full, valid UK driver's licence.
