Job summary

A leading energy recruitment firm is seeking a CAD Technician for a full-time, permanent position in Stone, England. The ideal candidate will have experience with AutoCAD Electrical, the ability to modify control circuits, and knowledge of PLC/DCS panel design. Qualifications

  • Familiarity with BS7671 (18th Edition) and IEC BS EN standards.

  • You will be modifying and producing CAD drawings.
  • Primarily working with control systems for nuclear projects.
  • Supporting hardware design for control panels.

Skills

Responsibilities
  • You will be modifying and producing CAD drawings, including as-builts and mark-up updates from PDFs/TIFFs
  • Primarily working with control systems and control circuits for nuclear projects
  • Supporting hardware design for control panels using proprietary components
  • Assisting with requirements capture, testing, and commissioning activities
  • Where applicable, work within a leading-edge system integration environment
Qualifications
  • Experience with AutoCAD Electrical and/or EPLAN
  • Ability to design and modify control circuits and instrument loop drawings
  • Knowledge of PLC/DCS panel design and control systems
  • Solid understanding of electrical, control, and instrumentation circuits
  • Familiarity with BS7671 (18th Edition) and IEC BS EN standards
  • Experience with electrical design, testing, and commissioning documentation
