Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is seeking a Draughtsperson / CAD Technician (AutoCAD) for an office-based role in Kirkby. You will produce detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings for biomass, bioenergy and heating projects, including GA, fabrication, installation and equipment layouts.

This position offers progression within a growing renewable energy company, exposure to varied biomass projects up to £1 million, and a salary ranging from £38,000 to £43,000 with additional company benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Draughtsperson or CAD Technician.
• Proficient in AutoCAD or similar CAD software.
• Commutable to Kirby.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings for renewable energy projects.
• Create GA, fabrication, installation and equipment layout drawings.
• Develop pipework routes, plant-room layouts and system arrangements.
• Update drawings following design changes, site surveys and installations.
