Job summary

A leading engineering firm in England is seeking a CAD Technician to modify and produce CAD drawings. Qualifications

• Experience with AutoCAD Electrical and/or EPLAN.
• Ability to design and modify control circuits and instrument loop drawings.
• Knowledge of PLC/DCS panel design and control systems.
• Solid understanding of electrical, control, and instrumentation circuits.
• Familiarity with BS7671 (18th Edition) and IEC BS EN standards.
• Experience with electrical design, testing, and commissioning documentation.

• Modifying and producing CAD drawings from PDFs/TIFFs.
• Working with control systems for nuclear projects.
• Supporting hardware design for control panels.
• Assisting with requirements capture, testing, and commissioning.

Responsibilities

• You will be modifying and producing CAD drawings, including as-builts and mark-up updates from PDFs/TIFFs
• Primarily working with control systems and control circuits for nuclear projects
• Supporting hardware design for control panels using proprietary components
• Assisting with requirements capture, testing, and commissioning activities
