CAD Technician (Design) – Newtown, Wales

Salary: £35,000 to £45,000 DOE + 28 Days Holiday + Company Pension + Onsite Parking

Working hours: Monday to Friday 08:00 to 17:00

CAD Technician required for a growing manufacturer based in Newtown. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to play an integral role within a friendly team.

The successful candidate will need experience working AutoCAD and will have experience working on the design of structural steel or building projects. Candidates from any related industry are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Use AutoCAD to create 2D detailed designs and plans of architectural and structural projects.
• Work on projects related to structural steel, balconies, staircases, etc.
• Occasional site visits for surveys – approx. twice per month (usually within 1-1.5-hour radius).
