About the Company

Streamline Search is partnering with a well-established manufacturer of control panels, operating predominantly within the electronic engineering sector. Following continued success and recent project wins, our client is expanding their engineering team and is seeking an experienced CAD Technician to support ongoing design and development activities.

Role Overview

As a CAD Technician, you will play a key role in the design and development of valve products using SolidWorks. You will work closely with the wider engineering team to produce accurate, high-quality technical drawings, models, and documentation that support both manufacturing and project delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create detailed 2D and 3D designs of valves and related components using SolidWorks.
  • Produce technical drawings, assembly models, and manufacturing documentation.
  • Modify and update existing designs in line with client or project requirements.
  • Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure design accuracy and feasibility.
  • Assist in the development of prototypes, testing, and design improvements.
  • Maintain design files and ensure all documentation adheres to company standards.
Key Requirements
  • Previous experience as a CAD Technician, ideally within mechanical or electronic engineering.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks (essential).
  • Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and manufacturing processes.
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate technical drawings.
  • Ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively.
  • Relevant engineering or CAD qualification (preferred).
Benefits
