Job summary

Aureos Capital in Manchester is seeking a CAD Technician to produce high-quality 2D and 3D drawings for HV cable routing and associated infrastructure, working closely with engineers and project managers to meet project specifications and industry standards.

You will maintain drawing registers, support client submissions, contribute to CAD libraries, attend design reviews, and ensure timely delivery across multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Produce 2D and 3D CAD drawings for HV cable routing, joint bays, trench cross-sections, and associated infrastructure.
• Interpret engineering sketches and specifications to develop accurate technical drawings.
• Maintain drawing registers and ensure document control procedures are followed.
• Collaborate with engineers to resolve design issues and incorporate feedback.
• Support the preparation of design packages for client submission.
• Assist in the development of standard drawing templates and CAD libraries.
• Attend design review meetings and contribute to design development.
• Ensure all drawings comply with relevant industry standards and client specifications.
• Provide CAD support across multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery of outputs.
• Participate in HAZID and design coordination meetings as required.
