The successful candidate will create and revise detailed 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD and SolidWorks, ensuring compliance with technical standards. Candidates should have 2-3 years of experience in joinery or manufacturing and demonstrate a strong understanding of construction materials. This role emphasizes strong communication and problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years' experience as a Draughtsman within joinery or manufacturing.
• Proficient in AutoCAD (or equivalent CAD software).
• Strong understanding of joinery construction, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Overview

We are currently seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented CAD Technician to join our dynamic team.

Responsibilities

• Create and revise detailed 2D and 3D drawings and models using AutoCAD and SolidWorks (knowledge with pos process for CNC).
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and project managers to understand project requirements and translate concepts into technical drawings.
• Prepare assembly and fabrication drawings, including BOMs (Bill of Materials).
• Maintain drawing registers and revision history.
• Ensure all drawings comply with relevant technical standards and company guidelines.
• Assist in design modifications and prototype development as required.
• Perform drawing checks for accuracy and completeness.
• Coordinate with production or construction teams to resolve drawing-related issues.
• Archive and maintain records of drawings and associated documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2‑3 years' experience as a Draughtsman within joinery or manufacturing.
• Proficient in AutoCAD (or equivalent CAD software).
• Strong understanding of joinery construction, materials, and manufacturing processes.
