Junior Design Technician
Location: Ipswich, Suffolk

An exciting opportunity has opened up for a Junior Design Technician to join a busy and professional technical team, supporting the production of technical design drawings, calculations, and documentation within a specialist construction environment.
The role offers full training in wind load assessments, drainage calculations, thermal performance evaluations, insulation and PV design, and the production of CAD-based technical details. This position is ideal for someone from a construction or architectural background looking to develop their skills in flat roofing and waterproofing systems.
Key responsibilities include processing incoming drawing requests, liaising with technical managers and clients, and keeping up to date with relevant building regulations, Codes of Practice, and industry standards.
The ideal candidate will:
