Job summary

Guncast Pools & Wellness is seeking a Design Technician to support the design and sales team in the United Kingdom. You will prepare CAD and REVIT drawing packages, builders work and service schedules, and risk assessments while liaising with clients, architects and interior designers to build effective working relationships.

The role requires reading architectural drawings, self-motivation, and strong communication.

Qualifications

CAD and Revit knowledge desirable.
Knowledge of the construction industry preferable.
Formal industry qualification (HND/CIOB) beneficial.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
Self-motivated and able to self-manage when required.
Build good working relationships with internal and external parties.
Swimming pool design knowledge preferable but training will be given.

Responsibilities

Preparation of CAD and REVIT design project drawing packages.
Preparation of builders work and service schedules.
Preparation of risk assessments and method statements.
Preparation of ad-hoc design work as required.
Attend design team meetings and liaise with end clients, architects and interior designers.
Liaison with the sales team.
General office administration as required.
